hey what's up! you can call me hedj, myco, vespa, whatever you want honestly. i am not picky. i'm 23 years old and pretty much a hobbit. this is a personal blog where i post art and reblog things, etc.

i'm into stuff like webcomics, video games, Pokemon, The Protomen, mushrooms, music, deep sea life, crafting, and drawing.

i also post about social justice stuff sometimes, like feminism, racism, and LGBTQI issues. it's by no means the main focus of my blog, but if it gets on your nerves, you might not want to follow me.

i don't post nsfw stuff often, and when i do i tag it accordingly. but this blog has a lot of swears. i have a potty mouth. hwoops

Easy Fruit & Herb Flavored Water
Ingredients

fruit — 2 cups berries, citrus, melons, pineapple…most fruits will work (see recommended amounts in directions)
herbs — a sprig of mint, basil, sage, rosemary, tarragon, thyme, or lavender
water (tap or filtered)
ice

Directions
Supplies needed: 2 quart pitcher or jar with lid; muddler or wooden spoonGeneral formula for whatever fruit/herb combo you desire.1. If using herbs, add a sprig of fresh herbs to jar/pitcher; press and twist with muddler or handle of wooden spoon to bruise leaves and release flavor; don’t pulverize the herbs into bits.2. Add approx. 2 cups of fruit to jar/pitcher; press and twist with muddler or handle of wooden spoon, just enough to release some of the juices3. Fill jar/pitcher with ice cubes.4. Add water to top of jar/pitcher.5. Cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days.Suggested flavor combinations:ALL CITRUS (no herbs) — Slice 1 orange, 1 lime, 1 lemon into rounds, then cut the rounds in half. Add to jar and proceed with muddling, add ice & water.RASPBERRY LIME (no herbs) — Quarter 2 limes; with your hands, squeeze the juice into the jar, then throw in the squeezed lime quarters. Add 2 cups raspberries. Muddle, add ice & water.PINEAPPLE MINT — Add a sprig of mint to the jar (you can throw in the whole sprig; or, remove the leaves from the sprig, if you prefer to have the mint swimming around and distributing in the jar). Muddle the mint. Add 2 cups pineapple pieces, muddle, add ice & water.BLACKBERRY SAGE — Add sage sprig to jar and muddle. Add 2 cups blackberries; muddle, add ice & water.WATERMELON ROSEMARY — Add rosemary sprig to jar & muddle. Add 2 cups watermelon cubes; muddle, add ice and water.

Summer tiiiiiiime, and the living’s easy!!

I need to save this. I spend far too much on flavory water.

THIS WOULD REALLY HELP MY CURRENT ATTEMPT AT DIETING

THIS SHIT LOOKS FANTASTIC, i love fruit juice but it’s got a ton of sugar so this seems like an awesome alternative!! WATERMELON ROSEMARY ARE YOU SERIOUS
also, a really lazy shortcut version of the first one that is still really tasty: take an orange, slice it into quarters, then freeze it. once the slices are frozen, use them in place of ice cubes in glasses of water. the combination of juice leaching out of the orange itself and oils from the skin is super delicious. :V you can basically keep using the slices until they melt, and then eat the orange. mm.

The Dashing Prince (Katamari Damacy Shot)
Ingredients:(recipe makes 6 shots)1 oz Blue Curacao1/2 oz Grenadine2 oz Vodka2 oz Midori Melon Liqueur2 oz Pineapple juice1 oz Fresh lemon juice6 Maraschino cherries with stems
Directions: Mix the Blue Curacao and grenadine and divide into the bottom of 6 shot glasses. Pour vodka, Midori, pineapple juice, and lemon juice in a shaker and shake to combine. Carefully layer the green on top of the purple, and garnish the edge of each shot glass with a maraschino cherry.
To take the shot remove the cherry from the edge and down it, and then eat the cherry afterwards. The result is a shot that’s sweet, quirky, and even a little fruity that’s best enjoyed with all your friends, just like Katamari Damacy.

I need this in my life.
